80th Birthday Celebration

About a month ago, we celebrate my hubby's grandmothers 80th birthday. It was a small gathering and I wanted to share the dessert table I put together for the occasion. Her birthday is on Cinco de Mayo, so of course a fiesta sounded appropriate for the theme. I didn't want use typical Cinco de Mayo colors because my inlaws are actually Salvadorian, so I chose a soft color palette.
She is the sweetest woman and the look on her face when she came into the surprise party was priceless (too bad I didn't have my camera in hand at the time). Check out her 80th birthday dessert table....

I put together this banner with printables from Tini Posh. I added gold cardstock and BAM, a gorgeous birthday banner! Thank you my friend! :)

I just knew that I had to get a hold of Nikola from Oh, Goodness! Desserts! She makes the most delish margarita cupcakes and I thought they would be perfect for this party. Oh goodness is RIGHT!

I picked up some Mexican sweets for the dessert table from my local bakery.

Claudia of Tini Posh also created this super cute cake banner. So festive and so pretty!!
I also ordered this gorgeous candle set from Made by a Princess. LOVE!!

Made these centerpiece picks for each table.

Love this photo of the hubs and his granny!
