Operation: No More Ba Ba

Last week at Nate's check-up, the doctor asked me if I had taken him off the bottle yet and I sadly had to answer NO. Nate is now 1 yr and 4 months old, so he isn't that late but I honestly couldn't remember when I should stop giving him a bottle. By this 3rd child, my mind isn't what it should be (in my defense). He probably only had 2 bottles a day, maybe 3 on a bad day, so I didn't think it would be hard to take it away. That very day I decided to just do it and say "No more Ba Ba!". I am happy to say that it's been exactly a week and guess what, NO MORE BA BA! He hasn't even noticed that it's not part of his life anymore. I'm a little sad, because the very last "baby" part of him is gone :( he is full on toddler now. And with that have come the "Terrible Two's" like a year early...... lucky ME!
Not missing Ba Ba!

Hey im a new follower found you on bloggy moms! Your kids are adorable! And yes the bottle is harder for moms to get rid of than it seems for the kid. Well for me it was a bitter sweet kind of thing. My baby didnt need baby bottles anymore:( but man was i glad to ditch the bottles to the curb, cleaning and always having bottles parts invading my kitchen and house was so annoying! lol anyways great blog cant wait to read more! have a great week and if you get a chance come follow me back and check out my blog! talk to ya soon!

Your Nate is so adorable!!! It's hard seeing them grow so quickly, but also fun to see the people that they become. I'm also dealing with a toddler starting the "terrible two's" early. What's with these kids? Why rush growing up??? lol

If it's any consolation I've lost all of my brain marbles and I only have one small child...I can only imagine what will happen if/when I have three! lol:). Great job on the bottle to sippy cup transition. Our nanny was just telling me that her little one refuses to give up her bottle and it's been a nightmare for her. I hope it goes smoothly for us someday too! Thanks for following:)I look forward to following you as well:)

He is so adorable! As our kids get older the feeling is bittersweet :)

I have had "mommy brain" since the first child and its only gotten worse with 3, so I can completely relate! lol

Your children are adorable. My little one didn't miss her bottle all that much either. Those terrible two's are fun. We've been in them for a bit now and it seems she comes up with something new weekly.

As for losing the mind, yeah, it comes with kids, or would that be go? First you get pregnesia, then it is momnesia. I think we all go through that.

Thanks for the follow from MBC, following you back now as well.
