Christmas at the Rivas home....

I hope everyone had as wonderful a Christmas as I did. We did our traditional Christmas Eve celebration at our home, with my in-laws, cousins and sister. It was really nice, to have the house filled with family and love. Even though we just did this for Thanksgiving, it seemed that we needed it. It was also Nathaniel's first Christmas and I was so excited to see him open his gifts. Not that he really knew what was going on but I guess it was more for myself, than him. He was more interested in the wrapping paper, than what was inside. I was even more excited about giving him a Brobee doll, from Yo Gabba Gabba. He actually did his first little wiggle dance to the theme song of that show, so I just had to run out and find him everything I could, of that show! Good Lord, I went to 8 stores looking for this one doll and I finally found it. The things I will do for that boy! But it all went very well. My girls, as usual got spoiled. Every year I say the same thing "I'm am not going to get them too much this year! They have enough!"....well that didn't work out too well! Everyone got what they wanted and were pretty pleased. I definitely got what I wanted! A happy, healthy family. As I watched my hubby and kids play with their Wii console, this evening, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with joy. My son laying with me on the sofa and laughing at his sisters act crazy, I thought that nothing could be better than this. Words can't even express how happy I was today. I am truly blessed to have these adorable children, a lovely little house, and this amazing husband. This year has been super good to me and I hate to see it go but also can't to see what's in store for next year.

(Nate was being naughty and got caught riping at a gift)
