Party Planning: Glitzy Bookworm (less is more)

I've slooooowly been working on my daughters 8th birthday, that is in September. I have most of the details figured out, it's now just time to execute. Even though it's going to be a small party (mostly her friends), I have a lot of tiny details that will take some time and one of those are the glitzy specs. Of course I need some "nerd" glasses for the girls to sport and of course they need to have a lil' glam to them. I decided to buy the traditional black frame glasses and bedazzle them a bit. I tried a couple different ways and in the end my daughter was the decision maker. Turns out she's a less is more kinda girl and she was happy with some minimal and simple gems on the ends of the glasses. Which is great for ME, because now I have LESS work to do :)

She passed on these. LOL!

She loved these more, so we have a winner!
