Happy Birthday, Monster

A few days ago, while picking up a prescription for Nate, I found the cutest book for him. This pharmacy always has corky, unique items, as well as a bookshelf filled with children's books. When I seen the title of this book, I thought it would be a great little birthday gift for him. It's called "Happy Birthday, Monster" about a monster named Ben who throws a party for his friend Doris....monster style! Too cute!

A Lovely Sunday....... Part 2

Besides our brunch on Sunday, I also demanded that everyone enjoy the sun, instead of sitting on the couch, watching T.V. It's usually hard to get hubby off the couch, especially when there are games on. Surprisingly, no one gave me a hard time. We spent time in our backyard, the girls, along with hubby, played soccer and Nate sought out adventure in the backyard. It really was a lovely Sunday afternoon.

We decided to grill some steaks for dinner.

Ending our Sunday with grilled steaks w/ bleu cheese chive butter, baked potato and salad with MORE bleu cheese crumbles..... was HEAVEN!

A Lovely Sunday........Part 1

My weekend started off rocky but ended on a wonderful note. I thought about so many things this weekend, mainly on Saturday night, while hubby and I had a long conversation. And we just realized even more, if that's even possible, that we have such a wonderful life! Despite any opinions people may have, to feed their egos, we know how lucky we are and there are NO other people that we would trade places with. I definitely wouldn't want anyone elses husband, because mine worked hard all weekend, washed my car and took us, along with my mother in-law to a champagne brunch. Luminarias in Monterey Park, Ca. has become one of our favorite places. Their champagne brunch is amazing, especially their dessert selection, SO YUMMY!

Take a REALLY good look at my BEAUTIFUL family. Trust me when I say, I don't EVER want to be anyone else, be like anyone else or have anyone elses life! I'm the luckiest woman in the world! :)

Yo Gabba Gabba Live!!!!!

Happy belated Thanksgiving everyone! Yes, I'm posting out of order here but I don't care because I am just too eager to share our YGG Live experience! After the madness of the holiday and Black Friday shopping, we attended YGG live. Let me just say that it was.... AWWWESOMMME!!! We had the best time and the kids really enjoyed it, yes, even Serina, who could care less for it. Nate was in a little shock, I think he didn't know what to think himself. But he ended up having so much fun! We danced, we sang, we got confetti in our hair and caught balloons that fell from the sky. Even my hubby said that he had fun! Wow! We've taken our kids to live shows before but this, I can honestly say, was the most fun we've ever had.

These beautiful faces are my world! Their happiness and taking care of them is my main priority in life. Sorry hubby, you're a close 4th! LOL! I teach them to be good people and to have a good head on their shoulders. That is why being "Super Mom" or "Super Exhausted Mom" is worth it.
