Valentine's Day Class Treats

Valentine's Day is around the corner! A time that is actually a little stressful for us mama's, because we have to come up with classroom treats. I have a teen, a tween and a 1st grader! Yes. Talk about all over the board. I worked on trying to come up with ideas to fit all their needs. For the tween and teen, I created these Snapchat inspired printables. They fit perfectly on a box of Sweethearts candy! My girls totally loved them, so thats a win for me. Yay! For my son, I was inspired by a few Pinterest pins, using mini cereal boxes. I thought it was such a cute idea and decided to create printable tags for them.

Both are instant downloads and are available in my Etsy shop.

I purchased the Sweethearts candy boxes from Target. (only in stores) Snapchat printables available here.

For the cereal box Valentine treats, I also purchased the Kellog's Fun Paks at Target, to add my tags to.
Blue/red tags and green/red tags are available as instant downloads as well.

Valentine's 2012: Just Desserts

Hope everyones day of LOVE, was awesome. Mine was pretty great I gotta say! No fancy plans were made, being that it was on a week day and the kiddos had school but it was nice just to enjoy each other. Hubby brought home the biggest flower arrangement I've ever seen, so that was really nice and I made a shirt, dedicated to just him. I didn't do a whole set-up or anything but I did manage to put together some treats for all of us. The 99 Cent store and Hostess Snow Balls, saved the day! Ha! I purchased pink plastic champagne glasses for my girls and made strawberry milk shakes for them.... they were delish. I made up cupcake toppers with the kids names on them and just stuck them into the snow balls, easy peasy! Last, I covered strawberries with white chocolate and sprinkles, finito.
My favorite though, has to be the table sign I made, with all the little hearts representing our family. Check out the desserts!

My table sign

Hubs and I got real glasses ;)

Made up these mini bags for Tahlia to take to her class. Dropped in a rice crispy treat and that was it! :)

Happy Dia del Amor! What's YOUR story of love?

I want to wish everyone a great day, full of love. Now, I personally think it's a little over-rated. If you don't express love for one another the rest of your days, then this one day really doesn't mean much. But of course, when in Rome! So my hubby and I usually celebrate some how, whether it's by ourselves or with the kids. It is the day of "amor" after all and my loves are my hubby and beautiful children. My love story started way back in the 7th grade, when I met this "popular", "cute boy"! Totally crushed on him. Finally in the 8th grade had one kiss in the hall ways of our school and didn't reunite again until 7 yrs later. We've been inseparable for 10 yrs now! Through those 10 yrs there has been dating, children, marriage and more children. Hehe! I can't tell you how much better my life has been with this man in it and what an amazing life we have made. LOVE!
What is YOUR love story? Do tell! :)
Then.....
And NOW!!
