"Rock A Bye Baby" Baby Shower

I'm so excited to finally share my besties baby shower from this past weekend! I put a lot of effort and love into trying to make this really nice for her, so I hope she liked it. We decided on a "Rock a Bye Baby" theme, because the mama to-be really isn't into your typical baby shower themes, which was WAY more than ok with me, since I'm not either. We're both on the "edgier" side and lovers of rock, so this theme was perfect. Although, at the same time, I didn't want to go crazy with the rock theme, where it might look like a kids rock star party.... ya know? I wanted a little chic, a little edge, a little baby and a little rock..... does that make any sense?? LOL. Well, with the use of houndstooth, (which I think is a very edgy pattern), I think that really helped tie it all together.
Gotta send BIG thank you's to the awesome vendors that delivered the cuteness, you girls ROCK! :) Also, to the extra hands that helped me tie ribbons, LIFT ladders and set up! LOL. Thanks Cindy and Berlinda :)

The mama to-be (for the 3rd time!)

Desserts!!!
The hand dyed onesie banner I made, with glittery cardstock letters.
My table sign
My cupcake toppers, onesie and rattles. Rattles, monogrammed with the baby's letter M, for Mateo!
Had to add these cute baby Vans to the table. They totally ROCK!

These are cutest cookies EVER, by Roni's Sugar Creations! Wish I could have took them out of they're packaging but the party was outside. Didn't want the buzzards to attack!
I actually never had banana pudding until that day and these little cups made by Cindy Cabrales of Bows N' Beauty, were DELISH!!

Cake pops by MKR Creations..... these ROCKED my world! Yum-O!
Added a little guitar glitter
Gotta have ROCK candy, right?!?

I repackaged cotton candy bags into these clear bags, resealed them and added the labels I made for them. Kind of a pain to do but they look so cool!
The rockin' Molina family! I love them :)
Claudia of Tini Posh totally blew me away with these shirts she made for the big brother and big sister! Aren't they adorable?!?
My bestie and I :)

I had a turquoise changing table that I had painted especially for my sons room, so I brought that baby out! It was too perfect!
Made the banner with the baby's name on it.
Here's the lamp that I also used from my sons room, just covered it with the houndstooth fabric and grosgrain ribbon.
I love the blingy guitars on this diaper cake, also made by Cindy Cabrales of Bows N' Beauty!
Favor tags I made

I had to keep these gorgeous caramel apples hidden or they would have been snatched before I could get one ;) Roni's Sugar Creations always wow's me! I wish the picture showed just how pretty these apples were, with hints of turquoise glitter.

Table set-up
The centerpieces were made by my bestie's Aunt Berlinda. Beautiful!
My table signs

How rockin' is this wreath by The Knock Knock Factory?? Natalie never disappoints!
Chandelier and lanterns
The party posse! Cindy Cabrales and Berlinda Fern :)

What a great looking shower!!! If I have #3 i'll have to put this into definite consideration, especially since mine are always unisex.

Great post ! They hardly ever get used! Bottle fed babies however need lots of burp cloths, so it depends on how you end up feeding the baby. If you bottle feed just buy a jumbo pack of cheap baby face cloths and use them for burp cloths. If you want nice ones for your diaper bag then get a set but I wouldn't buy tons of nice ones for at home!
Thanks:)
