As some of you may already know, Nate just LOVES Yo Gabba Gabba. Well for some reason, I never thought of incorporating YGG into his first birthday party. So a few weeks ago, it dawned on me to try to mix some YGG with his carnival theme, and let me tell ya, it wasn't as easy as I thought. It's not impossible but the thought of either theme not getting done to it's full potential, wasn't sitting well. I just decided that, even though it would be MORE work, I would have my son's favorite program as a theme for his actual birthday. So the day before his big party, I will be having a small gathering for his 1st birthday and the theme for that will be Yo Gabba Gabba. Fortunately for me, I have a friend that happens to be a fanatic, as well as her little boy and she has been able to help and point me in the right direction. I thought I would share some of the things I've ordered and plan on making. These plates are my favorite! I ordered these from CelebrateExpress.com Cupcake Toppers Brobee hats Wall DecorationsI saw these on the YGG gallery and I thought they were pretty cute and easy to make! Using printables from NickJr. com, I can make these, as well as shirts for the kids. I'm still brain storming but thankfully, this will only be for a few people, so I won't need much. Just about a month away and I'm so excited for both of my baby's parties!
